01So, what actually is FREN?+

FREN is the idea that mates should be able to pay each other without using the same kind of money. One person can use crypto while the other uses their bank. A payment link connects the two. This website is an interactive product demo.

02Does my mate need a crypto wallet?+

The intended experience lets the person paying or receiving local money use their bank, with no crypto wallet needed. The crypto side uses a wallet. In this demo, both payment methods are simulated, so you can try the entire flow without connecting anything.

03Can I send real money here?+

Not yet. You can create a saved request, open its payment link, complete a simulated payment and download a demo receipt. No money moves, and we never ask for bank credentials, card details or private keys.

04What about rates and fees?+

The playground uses fixed example exchange rates and a 1% demo fee. These are there to explain the flow, not to give a live quote. A production service would show a provider’s current rate, all fees and the expected arrival time before payment.

05Which currencies can I try?+

Explore GBP, EUR, USD and THB with SOL, USDC, ETH or BTC in either direction. These are demonstration choices, not a promise of supported payment corridors or networks at launch.

06Can I cancel a payment request?+

Yes. Open Your links and cancel any pending demo request. Once a demo payment is completed, its receipt is kept as part of your activity. Links are available only to people who can access this private site.
